The label that you pulled off which was stuck to the wax had a witch on it dressed in black.They were available when I grew up on long Island in the 60's and in the 70's. They were working harmonica's that were made of wax that you could break off a section and chew for hours.

#3 · Apr 18, 2006 I had a candy pennywhistle once, but I don't think I ever got a wax harmonica. You may want to try contacting some of the vintage candy e-shops and see if they know anyone who makes them. I looked through a few and did not see any in inventory.
