St Nicholas' Chapel. There has been a chapel on the island at St Ives since mediaeval times and it is thought to date from the 15th Century. During the 18th Century, it was re-purposed as a lookout for Revenue officers. After this, the chapel fell into disuse and was used as a store by the War Office. It is a small and simple granite rubble building slurried slate roof with gable ends, plain square headed windows.
