La fontana del Facchino, che oggi possiamo vedere in via Lata, quella brevissima stradina che unisce corso Umberto a piazza del Collegio Romano, originariamente era addossata al palazzo De Carolis (oggi del Banco di Roma) ma all'angolo su via del Corso. Da qui fu spostata sul lato attuale nel 1872.
