The Diana model 50 is an underlever spring-piston air rifle. That means the barrel doesn't open like a breakbarrel, so there has to be another way to load a pellet. The sight in the middle is the "Diopter 60." This was OEM for the models 60, 65, and 66 barrel-cocking recoilless match rifles from about 1963 to 1978. The unit on the left is the "Diopter 75," introduced for the model 75 sidelever match rifle in 1977. Either will fit most model 50's perfectly. The two share some internal parts and are similar.
